I heart lip tints. They are quick and easy to use, last all day and come in a variety of shades. You can wear them alone or with a gloss. You can also use them as a base for your favorite lipstick in order to ensure the longest lasting lip color imaginable. For spring and summer, a great lip tint is a must-have. Here are a few of my favorite lip tints/lip stains:
Sephora Collection Lip and Cheek Stain – $12 – www.sephora.com
This is the quintessential lip stain. The gorgeous cherry red shade will give your lips that luscious look as if you’d just devoured a delicious cherry popsicle. It can be layered on for a bolder effect and is a gel consistency which helps keep lips moisturized.
theBalm Stainiac in Homecoming Queen – $17 – www.thebalm.com
All lip stains and tints don’t have to be in the classic red shade. For those of you who prefer to rock a lighter shade, I highly recommend this lip stain as its a beautiful peach tone that is on trend with this spring/summer’s orange and coral lip looks!
Laura Mercier HydraTint in Mocha – $20 – www.lauramercier.com
Unlike the previous two products, this lip tint comes in a stick formula which glides on smooth and imparts just enough color to the lip without covering up the natural lip tone. I love that this stain is in a deeper shade which works well with our diverse skin tones.
