Regular readers of The Black Market know that we are more than a little fixated on fashion films. We have yet to find one that we didn’t see something of interest in, but it seems to be rare that the actual film reflects the tone of the collection itself. Esoteric narratives are cool and all, but sometimes, getting straight to the point is all you need. Prabal Gurung has released a video featuring his Pre-Fall 2012 collection, directed by Dan Martensen. The collection has an undercurrent of psychedelic chic that is played up to great effect in the film. Love.
