Product Review: VS Pro Lasting FX Eye Shadow Primer

11 Apr

A fabulous primer is to flawless makeup what a push-up bra is to a sexy wrap dress. It’s all about creating a wonderful foundation which better ensures optimal results. Eye shadow primers come in a variety of formulations, shades and textures but they all have the same purpose – even out your complexion, help your makeup last longer without creasing and boost the color pay-off of your cream and powder shadows. One of my new favorite eye shadow primers is VS Pro Lasting FX Eye Shadow Primer. The product comes in a tube and can be applied with a brush, sponge or with a finger. It does not have a color or tint to it so it is great for those times when you want the effect of a primer with no color alteration. The consistency is very lightweight and it melted into the skin within seconds of application. I applied my shadows on top of the primer and was very pleased to see my makeup stay put for several hours, no smudges, creasing or flaking. Not only does this product make the grade for its long-lasting results, it’s also at a great price point for those of us on a beauty budget.
