While the eye of the fashion world is trained on the Couture in Paris right now, Berlin Fashion Week started yesterday. We always get excited about the lesser-known fashion weeks because there are bound to be talented designers that we have never heard of but will ultimately come to follow closely. Over the next few days, we will spotlight a few designers that are showing at Berlin Fashion Week whose work we love. First up is Michael Sontag, a designer that doesn’t sketch, preferring to drape and shape his pieces on a mannequin. Sontag’s clothes are the type of looks that always catch our eye: classic pieces that are re-imagined into something fresh and modern and totally covetable.
