As the internet continues to gain momentum in the world of marketing and advertising, Estee Lauder, one of the biggest beauty brands in the world, has made the leap onto YouTube with the launch of their new channel. This new foray onto YouTube is a brilliant move on the brand’s part as there are millions of opportunities to grab new and existing customers with beauty advice, product launches, demonstrations and specialized content.

The new channel already has 35 videos featuring Creative Director Tom Pecheux and global spokesmodels Hilary Rhoda, Constance Jablonski, Liu Wen, Joan Smalls, Carolyn Murphy and Elizabeth Hurley. One of the most exciting aspects of this new channel is the two-way mirror which allows the user to practice makeup applications while on their computer.
To practice creating a look on yourself in real time, viewers can activate the on-screen mirror and watch the tutorial while trying the application method on themselves. This feature initiates your webcam which allows you to follow along easily. You can see both yourself and the video on the screen at once so you can apply the techniques on yourself.
